Flamborough Head | Rain, Deer & Seal

Flamborough Head: Shifting Sands

A couple of weeks ago, I had a day to work on my project. I’ve not had many lately as work has been busy & I’ve just not had as much time as I’d have liked to work on my own photographs. As I write this, I’m hoping to get out tomorrow, but already my list of things that I need to do before I go is growing. I might just ditch the ‘to do’ list. I need to see the sea again.

I had planned to go to Filey, but as I set off that morning, the clouds broke and it rained pretty much all the way there, so I went for Plan B - Flamborough Head. If you’ve never been to Flamborough, it’s the geological gem of the Yorkshire coast and features the only chalk cliffs in the north of the country. It’s perhaps one of the most dramatic areas of the Yorkshire coast and on the day I was there, because of the weather, I had the whole place to myself, except for a Deer & a couple of Seals.

I’m aware that at the moment, new blog posts aren’t being shared with subscribers - I’m in the process of sorting that out - Basically, I need to pay £6 a month. I need a few more subscribers to make it worth the £6, so please, click away on the ‘Subscribe’ button.
