Lost
We’ve reached that strange time of the year. It feels like for the last few months I’ve been off my feet with work. Mainly headshot sessions for actors and businesses. I’ve not had a lot of time for anything outside of that.
I’ve bemoaned the fact that I haven’t managed to get to the gym or go swimming, get out on my bike, or to the doubtless joy of the neighbours, practice my Harmonica playing.
And then all of a sudden, it stops.
The work is done, I’m pretty much up to date.
Accounts are done. I just have to wait for the accountant to tell me how big a cheque to send to HMRC now. (After this year, I suspect it’ll be like those oversized lottery cheques they use for publicity photos).
Bookings are coming in for January now. (As usual, it’ll take me 3 months to getting used to writing 26 instead of 25).
Why can’t I motivate myself now to do all the things I didn’t have time for?
Anyway, while I procrastinate and waste a day off planning stuff to do, here’s a few photographs that I took in Selby while I was walking the dog.
Maybe that’s what I’ll do. I’ll take the dog out.
